Supported Instagram Media
Clipora is designed for public Instagram media that can be identified from a shareable URL. This guide explains the main supported formats, important limitations, and why availability can change.
Public Reels and video posts
Public Reels and public video posts are the core use cases. Paste the post URL and wait for the real processing result; Clipora does not claim a file is ready before the backend confirms it.
Public photos and posts
Public photo posts and supported post URLs can be submitted from a browser. The returned format and quality depend on the media available from the public source.
Carousels and multiple items
A carousel may contain several photos or videos. Availability depends on what the processing service can resolve from that post. If a complete set cannot be returned, Clipora reports the limitation instead of promising unsupported output.
Not supported
Private accounts, close-friends Stories, login-protected pages, deleted posts, and unavailable or restricted media are outside Clipora's public-only boundary. The service does not bypass access controls.
Mobile and desktop browsers
Current Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Edge browsers can use the same URL workflow. On iPhone and Android, use Save to Files or the browser Downloads view when a direct save prompt is not shown.
Common limitations
Resolution, audio tracks, file format, and availability depend on the source and current processing response. A failed request should be retried later, not submitted repeatedly.
